After NeNe Leakes‘ husband Gregg passed away this week, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s restaurant and lounge will pay tribute to the 66-year-old over the weekend.

According to Radar Online, there was an event originally scheduled at The Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Ga., on Wednesday, September 1, but it was moved after the businessman passed away. Instead, sources said that a bigger event is being planned. The eatery also told the publication that it’s been business as usual since Gregg died.
Linnethia told Radar that the party for Gregg will be spread out for three days from Friday to Sunday.

While there have been lots of tributes for Gregg online, the insider said that since the news broke, the lounge was receiving calls throughout the day from people offering their condolences to NeNe.

Days before his passing, NeNe told patrons at the Linnethia Lounge that Gregg was “transitioning to the other side.” “Sometimes you don’t know what people are dealing with,” the 53-year-old told customers after she received flak for not wishing someone happy birthday.
Gregg had a previous spat with stage three colon cancer. NeNe announced in May 2019 that he was cancer-free. However, she revealed in June during an Instagram Live with The Jasmine Brand that his cancer had come back.

NeNe and Gregg first said “I do” in 1997 and then called it quits in 2011. The pair reconciled and remarried in 2013.
