According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Ledward’s request was initially shut down but she is back in court to ask for $71,000 from the actor’s estate.

Ledward filed in April asking for $71,613.74 to be reimbursed. This included $7,495 for a mausoleum crypt at McDougald Funeral Home in South Carolina, $9,500 for the venue and $8,500 for the funeral services which totaled $2,631 for beverages and $1,275 for flowers.

Radar noted that the 30-year-old’s claim was rejected by the court as the request “must be supported by evidence of payment by the claimant.” The court order explained that “support for claim is unclear based upon the partial payments, transferred account, and documents provided.”

Due to the complexity of the claim and the amount of money involved, the court is asking that more documentation is provided to prove that it was paid.

A hearing is reportedly slated for November where the judge is expected to make a final decision on the matter.

Boseman passed away in August 2020 aged 43 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. While the couple tied the knot a few months before he passed away, he reportedly did not draft a will. The pair was first linked in 2015.

A few months after his death, his wife was appointed the executor of his estate, leaving her responsible for managing creditor’s claims and handling finances.

The 21 Bridges star’s parents, Leroy and Carolyn, reportedly filed documents recently requesting that they be notified of all matters in their son’s estate.

Boseman’s estate reportedly is estimated to be valued at $3.5 million.

Ledward recently honored her late husband at the “Stand Up to Cancer” televised special on Saturday, August 21, where she sang “I’ll Be Seeing You.”
