Gossip blogger Roger Friedman reportedly called the suit “bogus” and laid out a timeline showing the musician on tour with fellow singer Joan Baez, his former girlfriend, during the time the woman claims she was sexually abused by Dylan in New York.

The schedule showed the 80-year-old rocker had been on the road on the West Coast and in the U.K. during the period she claims the abuse happened.

Now, the lawyer for the woman — identified as J.C. in the suit — is fighting back and claiming there is a gap in the tour and he plans to prove it.

“There were two weeks between shows in April,” lawyer Daniel Isaacs told DailyMail, adding: “The schedule is consistent with her claims.”

“There’s no doubt she was in the Chelsea Hotel with Dylan during that period,” Isaacs continued. “The complaint and allegations were thoroughly vetted and factual details were provided by our client.”

J.C.’s attorney alleges they have evidence to prove her claims and searched high and low for it. “There’s all sorts of things we found that back up her claims, on the internet, various sources and blogs and all that. A lot of research went into this. We’ll prove our in a court of law,” he concluded.

As OK! reported, the “Lay Lady Lay” crooner stands accused of grooming the preteen back in 1965 for the purpose of having a sexual relationship with her. The accuser — now 65 — alleges the singer-songwriter plied her with booze and drugs before sexually abusing her.

Dylan, over a six-week period between April and May of 1965 befriended and established an emotional connection with the plaintiff,” court documents stated. The suit also alleges the musician established a “connection” with the minor to “lower [J.C.’s] inhibitions with the object of sexually abusing her, which he did, coupled with the provision of drugs, alcohol and threats of physical violence.”

J.C. claimed the rocker’s actions have left her “emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged to this day.”
