Lady Gaga may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but it seems her heart will always belong to her hometown.

The “Born This Way” singer and Bennett performed in the iconic venue on Tuesday, August 3, and Thursday, August 5, for what was dubbed as the 95-year-old’s last onstage event for “One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and .”

Gaga and Bennett first met in 2011. In 2014, the pair released their jazz album Cheek to Cheek. The “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” crooner announced in February that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016, but the two are still set to release their next album together, Love for Sale, on October 1.

“During her Radio City show, which was taped for a tv special, [Gaga] walked into the audience and serenaded her parents who were in audiences,” the insider says. “It was an emotional moment.”

The House of Gucci star was said to be happy to be back at home in New York with her family, and the group was laughing throughout the dinner. Others dining at the restaurant were shocked to see how down to Earth the superstar was, the insider says.

While she seemed to be enjoying the time off, those close to Gaga say that she is ready in a major way to get back to work following the coronavirus pandemic, according to the insider.

The A Star Is Born actress is said to be planning to release a remix album for Chromatica. She will soon announce dates for her Las Vegas residency to start up again — with sources saying Gaga will be on stage for her residency before the end of the year, the insider shares.
