His life may be a whirlwind of scandal at the moment, but New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was pictured relaxing on Thursday, August 5, as he faces sexual harassment allegations and possible impeachment.

In pictures obtained by the New York Post, the 63-year-old politician is seen at the at the New York State Mansion in Albany, sitting in a lawn chair with his feet up as he chats with his secretary, identified as Stephanie Benton, who is sitting on the ground typing on a laptop.

The Democratic public servant, who has refused to step down as governor, seemed relaxed despite the mountain of allegations lodged against him.

The father-of-three has been staying out of the spotlight at his Executive Residence upstate since Tuesday, when the New York Attorney General’s explosive report regarding the sexual harassment claims plastered the headlines.

As OK! previously reported, Attorney General Letitia James — via independent investigators — found that sexually harassed 11 women, violating state and federal laws. The investigation also found that the former lawyer instructed staff to retaliate against one accuser who came forward and fostered a “a toxic workplace,” for his employees.

Back in March, more than 55 Democratic members of the New York State Assembly called for the 56th governor of New York to step down, to which he has refused. He has also denied ever touching anybody inappropriately.

As OK! previously reported, one of his accusers and former employees Lindsey Boylan, is planning to sue Cuomo and his team. Her lawyer Jill Basinger, announced that she is putting together the claim and plans to move forward with the lawsuit.

She explained “Because Lindsey was first, the governor needed to send a message. He needed to send a message to every other survivor out there that this is what happens when you go against the machine of the governor’s office.”
