“Mr. Peter Phillips and Mrs. Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today,” the exes said in a statement on Monday, June 14, reported The Royal Observer. “Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions.”

The former flames added, “Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost. … Peter & Autumn have requested privacy and consideration for their children as the family adapts to a new chapter in their lives.”

The pair first met in 2003 at the Formula Grand Prix in Montreal. They tied the knot in a gorgeous wedding in 2008 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

“They had reached the conclusion that this was the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship,” they said at the time. The decision to divorce and share custody came about after many months of discussions and although sad, is an amicable one. “The couple’s first priority will remain the continued well being and upbringing of their wonderful daughters.”

Phillips royal ties will remain strong. He will most likely attend the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue next month; OK! recently learned estranged former royal Meghan Markle is slated to attend as a “special guest.”

Just weeks after giving birth to her and Prince Harry’s second child, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, Markle will reportedly accompany her husband to the special event honoring his mother.

“Meghan knows how hard it was to attend his grandfather’s funeral alone and doesn’t want that to happen again,” a source exclusively spilled to Radar, referring to the late Prince Philip’s funeral back in April. “Harry was given the cold shoulder by most of his relatives, with several refusing to talk to him or even make eye contact.”
