Clad in a traditional black graduation gown and cap, the media mogul was joined by her mom, Carolyn London, who stood smiling by her side.

The 47-year-old graduated from the alls-girl high-school in 1991, before focusing full time on her red-hot modeling career.

This isn’t the first time addressed the students at Immaculate Heart. Last year, the businesswoman contributed a special video message for the high school’s virtual graduation celebration for its class of 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since 1906, Immaculate Heart High School and Middle School has educated young women in grades 6-12 on its campus in the Los Feliz neighborhood of L.A.. Currently, there are approximately 550 students enrolled in the high school.

Banks, who is mom to a five-year-old son named York, is hardly the only famous alum of Immaculate Heart. Other celebs who got their start at the private, Catholic college preparatory include Meghan Markle, TV icon, Mary Tyler Moore, Grown-ish star Yara Shahidi and Fifty Shades Of Grey actress Dakota Johnson.

Banks made history as the first woman of African-American descent to be featured on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, on which she appeared three times. By the early 2000s, the 5’10” beauty was one of the world’s top-earning models and changed the face of reality TV competition shows with America’s Next Top Model.

In 2020, Banks replaced Tom Bergeron as host of Dancing with the Stars for its 29th season.
