“I finally received the cease & desist hours after I made my post online,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, May 5. “It was first sent to an email I no longer use. However, I’m moving forward with the truth & am choosing not to comply.

“I will not be called a liar,” Chase — who claimed on the “No Jumper” podcast last month that she had a relationship with Thompson while he was with Khloé Kardashian — concluded.

Her legal update comes one day after she called out Thompson’s lawyer, Marty Singer — who claimed he sent the Instagram model the cease and desist, which she hadn’t received at the time — and threw shade at the athlete.

“I have not received a cease and desist from anyone. The articles are giving false information,” Chase wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 4. “Let this be a lesson to not let anyone, no matter the money or fame they have, to shut you down or tarnish your name.”

And while Chase hasn’t been shy about airing out her dirty laundry with Thompson, it seems she may now be biting her tongue after receiving the legal notice. When asked by Page Six if Chase had proof of their alleged affair, she said: “Yes, I obviously do but this is now a legal matter that lawyers will handle. Thanks.”

In the cease-and-desist letter, Singer called Chase’s allegations “malicious defamatory fabrications,” adding that “Mr. Thompson had no relationship with you whatsoever and he never sent you any such texts.”

“It is obvious that you are a liar,” Singer insisted, before stating that if she does not stop “defaming” Thompson in public, “you do so at your peril since you may find yourself in court attempting to defend your indefensible misconduct.”

His legal team is also wary that the 23-year-old may just be trying to cash in on her 15 minutes of fame, TMZ reported — and it looks like it’s working for her!

Chase is set to make an appearance on Friday night at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Las Vegas, Page Six reported. She will apparently “host” the night and offer patrons a chance to meet her.

After making the shocking claims during the podcast interview, Chase also allegedly pitched a reality series, featuring Blac Chyna, to the Zeus Network. In addition, she has allegedly been sharing screenshots of her increasing social media following in order to secure more paid sponsorships.

Meanwhile, OK! learned Thompson’s legal team also took action against the podcast, on which Chase made the initial claims.

Adam John “Adam22” Grandmaison, the host of the “No Jumper” podcast, confirmed he erased the initial video after receiving the cease and desist from Singer. The interview has since been re-posted without the part about Thompson — which included Chase claiming the Boston Celtics player has a “a peek-a-boo d*ck.”

During the interview, recorded April 8 and posted April 22, Chase claimed she and Thompson “talked … hung out multiple times … went out together, everything,” while insisting she only began her relationship with the father-of-two because he said he was single.

However, when she found out that wasn’t the case, Chase apparently “cut it off” immediately. (Thompson and the reality star reconciled over the summer, and Chase claimed her romance with the handsome hunk began last November.)

Days after her shocking interview made headlines, Chase said the 30-year-old reached out to her twice since finding out about the interview — with one time being as recent as three weeks ago, one day after daughter True‘s birthday.

And the cheating allegations against Thompson didn’t stop there. In another Instagram video, which was believed to be recorded on the same day as the “No Jumper” interview, Chase shared dirty texts said to be sent from Thompson. Aside from asking Chase to send him private photos via the messages, Chase claimed Thompson told her that his second baby mama wasn’t his type. (Thompson also shares 4-year-old son Prince with Jordan Craig.)

In light of the claims made, Kardashian, who was reportedly “blindsided” by the cheating allegations (despite Thompson cheating on her twice before), allegedly reached out to Chase for a private chat — which didn’t remain private at all.

Last weekend, Chase allegedly posted a screenshot to Instagram of a notification from Kardashian asking to chat and for the conversation to “remain confidential.” While Chase deleted the screenshot from social media, The Shade Room caught the post.

As OK! reported, despite Chase warning the athlete about the interview before it became public, Thompson “did not tell Khloé” about the situation because “he didn’t seem to think it would get out,” according to a source.
