The woman in the graphic video — in which Portnoy, 44, was reportedly seen vigorously yanking her neck by a metal leash — was Instagram model Sydney Raines, who released a statement on Wednesday, April 7, about the “scandal.”

“I became aware yesterday that a video has surfaced on the internet and yes, that was me,” Raines wrote in her Instagram statement. “It’s hard to believe that a video from the past is just coming to light but it was never meant to be public.”

The blonde beauty added that the tape may be looked down upon by the public, but it was completely consensual between both parties. She added that “it’s unfortunate that [the tape] is no longer private,” noting that she and the Barstool Sports founder are still friends.
“There is no animosity between us,” she insisted.

Raines shared that she will now have to live with the burden of the video being out there, since it was leaked without her approval.
“People need to realize that we all endure obstacles in our lives and this just happens to be mine,” the model continued. “I won’t label this as a mistake since we have both taken responsibility for it, but the fact that it was leaked and posted without our awareness and consent would be considered the true mistakes.”

Raines concluded her statement, noting she is “accepting” the situation while she continues her “daily life without vexation.”
“With no apologies, Syd,” she signed.

In Raines and Portnoy’s tape, the social media personality was reportedly seen astride Raines, who was equally as naked with a black leather dog collar around her neck.

As OK! recently reported, Portnoy commented on the leaked video after investors speculated that the tape caused shares of Penn National Gaming — which he owns “a ton” of stock in, according to his Twitter bio — to drop.
“Somebody committing a crime by leaking an old video of sex between two consenting adults seems like a dumb reason for a stock to go down,” he told FOX Business before taking to Twitter to share more of his thoughts on the matter.

“Penn stock is down because there’s a f**king sex tape of me?” he sarcastically questioned in the clip. “Hey, news flash: this is the third f**king one. I used to sling it, I’ve gotten better. What are you gonna do? It’s the internet. So I have sex. People f**king know that. Yeah, it’s a little f**king weird and kinky. Whatever.”
