Gayle King previously broke the news that Harry spoke with his older brother and dad Prince Charles following the couple’s bombshell interview with on March 7 — during which they cited the royal family’s lack of support as one of the reasons they decided to step away as senior royals — and said the conversations were “not productive.”
.@GayleKing checked in with Prince Harry & Meghan this weekend:
“Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father, too. The word I was given was those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.” pic.twitter.com/fe0ATukkYw

“They don’t trust her,” Pasternak alleged to Fox News. “They don’t trust that if they do get in touch with her, that’s not going to be reported through CBS. You can’t go on international television, have an audience of nearly 50 million people globally, basically trash the royal family, and then expect them to reach out in good faith.”

“It would be naïve to think that this interview would prompt the royal family to instantly think, ‘Our institution is all wrong. We’re completely out of date. We need you to help us modernize,’” she blatantly said.
“The reason the British royal family – the House of Windsor – has survived because they have been quite ruthless in their survival mode and they’ve stuck to the same traditions and protocols,” Pasternak continued, adding that Harry knew their interview wouldn’t facilitate any change within the royal walls.

“Harry acknowledged that when he said ‘My brother and my father are trapped’ because he knows nothing is going to change,” Pasternak concluded.

At the time, King claimed: “I think it’s frustrating for them to see that it’s a racial conversation about the royal family when all they wanted all along was for the royals to intervene and tell the press to stop with the unfair, inaccurate, false stories that definitely have a racial slant.”

After King dished about the brothers’ private talk, OK! learned that William was worried his attempt at peace talks with Harry “will be plastered over American TV.”
As OK! previously reported, during Harry and Meghan’s talk with Oprah, he said his royal family members hadn’t reached out to apologize for their lack of support despite seeing the unfair treatment the couple endured.
The soon-to-be father of two expressed his upset with his family members for their inability to acknowledge how Harry and Meghan’s hardships as royals were different because of race. In addition, they claimed there were “concerns” and “conversations” surrounding the color of Archie’s skin prior to his 2018 birth.
