In addition to a boozy night out with his Palmer costar Alisha Wainwright in 2019 (Timberlake was photographed holding her hand at a bar in New Orleans) and his part in the now-infamous “Nipplegate” incident with Janet Jackson at the 2004 Super Bowl, Timberlake recently came under fire again due to the documentary Framing Britney Spears, which seemingly showed him exploiting his breakup from the pop princess to help his solo career.

“I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed,” Timberlake said in an Instagram statement.

“She’s incredibly proud of ,” notes the source of his wife. “Jessica says he’s come a long way as a husband, a father and, more importantly, as a human being.”
