Actress Rumer Willis is opening up about her struggles with mental health. The brunette beauty took to her Instagram Story on Monday, February 22, to talk about her “ ” that sometimes makes her “feel like [she’s] dying.”

“I get nauseous and my heart won’t slow down,” the 32-year-old captioned the soundless video of herself staring blankly at the camera in a white t-shirt. “It sometimes feels like a force so much bigger than me has taken over the control panel in my [brain].”

The eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore said she’s learned to not fight or resist these challenging thoughts and feelings. “I have to catch myself when I find myself focusing on just wishing it was somehow different,” The House Bunny actress added. “So here I am, sitting here feeling like I’m gonna melt, even though I know I won’t and just trying to lean into the discomfort as scary and painful as that is.”

did not share if something triggered these sudden feelings, but said that she “felt so loved and supported” after receiving “amazingly kind messages” following her candid post about her anxiety. “I decided to take charge of my day. Put on a new dress,” she captioned the video of herself posing for the camera before blowing a kiss and smiling. “Put on some music and dance it out.” 

Her supportive followers showered her with heart emojis and smiley faces with heart eyes.
