It has got to be hard to be in the spotlight like celebrities are. Sure, they love it to some degree, and they’re on social media and take part on reality television to boost their fame. That doesn’t make it easier when the paparazzi are following them, or disingenuous stories get written about them. For Aubrey O’Day, her weight is often the point of discussion, and the latest discussion has her seething mad.

Aubrey O’Day is calling foul and hit back with time stamped photos of herself.

Aubrey shared a photo of herself to social media claiming the story and images posted on Daily Mail weren’t truthful.

Posing in a black swimsuit, she held up a piece of paper that read, “it is Aug 31, 2020 9pm. I’m Aubrey O’Day. This is degrading!” In the caption on Twitter, she wrote, “it’s so sick what ppl will do for click bait! and that my lawyer needed this photo to defend me against it.. when is this industry going to stop abusing women’s bodies!”

In a follow up tweet, replying to a fan, she wrote, “makes me sick. I was jamming to Brandy & Monica Verzuz. Started my glam room and BOOM my whole night is ruined!” She continued, “then my attny has me taking photos with date and time to prove them false. Like, I’m tired of this stupid shallow abussive [sic] industry.”

This isn’t the first time a celebrity has accused paparazzi of digitally altering photos of women in the industry. In June 2019, Britney Spears accused paparazzi of altering an image of her to make it look like she had gained “40 pounds.”

“Yesterday I went swimming, I look like I’m 40 pounds bigger than I am today,” Britney said at the time in an Instagram Story. “This is how I am right now, and I’m skinny as a needle. You tell me, what is real?”

The following day, she brought it up again, writing on Instagram, “People always say people or celebrities cheat with their images, but never do they question the paparazzi for selling your pic that they have messed with!!!!”
