Mother Nature never fails to amaze us humans. Even in our scientifically advanced world, we are still making new discoveries on a daily basis, and it’s been estimated that we have explored less than five percent of the sea – so the odds of one day finding Atlantis actually aren’t that slim!
Now, incredible footage has emerged of a ‘flower’ which appears to be hatching in front of stunned onlookers.

There are countless animals which hatch from eggs, and the ones we are most familiar with are chickens. Most arthropods, vertebrates, and mollusks lay eggs, however, most mammals (including humans) do not. Neither do scorpions funnily enough.

Eggs which are lain in the water do not have a hard protective shell, and, because of this, their shapes can vary a lot more.
In fact, some of the weirdest eggs in the animal kingdom are lain by sharks, toads, and seahorses.

However, the recent viral footage of a ‘flower’ hatching isn’t of any of their eggs. It was posted to Twitter by the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center on Wednesday, and the incredible 10-second clip has already amassed 1.6 million views.
