Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey totally and utterly astonished wrestling and mixed martial arts fans all over the world on Sunday when competed in her first match in WWE in front of over 75,000 fanatics at WrestleMania. Rousey is one of the most renowned fighters in the world of women’s mixed martial arts,  so her sudden change of career left people floored.

To everyone’s surprise, she made an appearance at the Royal Rumble back in January and announced that she would be taking part in WrestleMania – WWE’s most popular show of the year.

The announcement was made back in January and it was yesterday (April 8) that Rousey finally made her WrestleMania debut:

And she certainly didn’t disappoint! Rousey showed off her undeniably impressive athletic ability and strength in the ring in what was arguably the match of the night.

The 31-year-old won a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in judo, and also won herself a Strikeforce bantamweight title and a UFC bantamweight world title in MMA.
