Jim Carrey is one of the most critically acclaimed and celebrated actors of our generation. One of his very first starring roles was in the 1985 movie, Once Bitten – but that was over three decades ago, and he had since attracted a large number of very dedicated fans who adore him for his undeniable comedic talent.

Movies such as Liar Liar saw the actor assuming the role of an imperfect buffoon who tries to get himself out of the most ludicrous situations. That’s the thing about Carrey – he is incredibly talented at playing the ridiculous in an endearing way.

Some of his other hit movies include The Mask, Ace Ventura, Dumb And Dumber and The Truman Show, and collectively they have drawn attention to the actor’s talent as a performer, leaving him with an incredibly large fanbase.

Yes, Carrey is an insanely talented actor, but he’s certainly no one-trick pony – he has a wealth of other talents outside the world of performance.

But one of his talents has led to this controversy:

In his spare time, Carrey likes to try his hand at painting, and although it’s not a full-time career for the actor-turned-artist (not yet, anyway), it is something that he takes very seriously.
