For anchors, reporters, meteorologists, and other newscast presenters, it’s their job to be as professional and poised as possible in front of a camera.

But as The Denver Channel demonstrated back in March 2016, that doesn’t mean they can’t have a little fun at each other’s expense during broadcasts. While their meteorologist, Lisa, was giving a weather forecast on Denver7, producers cut to a pretty startling close-up of a raven in an attempt to scare her.

But the joke was on them when Lisa, though a little surprised, didn’t give them the terrified reaction they were hoping for. In fact, she was more amused than anything.

In Lisa’s place, I definitely would’ve jumped and shrieked. It’s not every day you see a giant, hulking bird right behind you.
